An industrial park we maintain took advantage of a grass to drought tolerant planting rebate. We removed over 4,000 sq.ft. of grass in total, installed drip irrigation, decomposed granite, gravel and drought friendly plants. The water bill for the property was reduced significantly, all over-spray was eliminated and the sustainability and general aesthetic was greatly enhanced.
